Impacts that High-Tech Farming in Singapore have on the environment.


Limited negative impact:
1. Less fertilisers and pesticides used - Environment friendly
2. More land and water resources conserved for other use. (building office; more water for drinking)
3. Less fuel used because crops need not be transported over long distances - Environment friendly
4. Overproduction and wastage of resources minimised - Environment friendly

All these 4 factors contribute to the decision of setting up 6 Agrotechnology Park.
